i'm not sure that 3 or 4 months of summer has changed the boys our age that much, but i do think bosco was simply a breed of mostly immature guys. and i say mostly because mike and i had deep convos all the time. esp after we watched the exorcist. we talked about the church, being demented and all kinds of stuff that made us think. and i agree, those convos that make you think are awesome! in fact, they're homerific!!!!

went to all my classes today...and lisa's too! yea, six total. it was just like high school, without the uniforms and with three times as much chemistry. so let me tell you about my day...9:00am chem discussion with my friend akram boukai. best ta ever! i swear if it weren't for him, i'd be failing that class. 10am chem lecture with neuhauser...the pysco reptilian looking man who says tita instead of theta...arrrg...11am lunch with my friend lisa at the bombshelter, where this psycho lady three tables away was screaming, she was talking so loud, i was about to move...12pm visited lisa's philosophy lecture which actually turned out to be really interesting "things that you can think about exist, and things you can't think think about don't exist", but her professor needs to stop patting his head during class, it's super annoying...1pm my math lecture where i hear about how assymptotes are exactly like the center divider on the freeway, beacuse you can't hit them, but want to get as close as possible (all this from the lady who names her kids austin and dallas, and the dog houston)...2pm here comes the fun part-i sat in on lisa's chem lecture-omg her prof is quite possibly the coolest man ever! he has this sexy little accent and soothing voice, this guy is the indiana jones of chemistry, extremely smart, explains way better than my cold-blooded reptilian prof (who, by the way, was ranked the 8th worst teacher in all of UCLA), and, get this, at the end of the class, he busts out his electric guitar and starts playing all pro! going be visiting his class a lot from now on!...3pm italian lit discussion. this was pretty average, notes on the theatre and this playwright, goldoni. and that was all for my super long day, but honestly, it was pretty fun, and surprisingly i wasn't even that tired after all my adventures!

so, it's national coming out week here at ucla, and the pressure is making us wanna come out ourselves even tho we're not gay! in huge chalk letters on the ground in the middle of the science quad: "Q:can't think straight? A: be gay!", on the library wall, "queer and proud of it!", and on the benches, "hey you, come out now!".

waking up early is so hard to do! i seriously don't know how i was up and in class thinking by 8 every day last year...i thought 9:10 days meant sleeping in...not even! i have trouble getting up for my 10am chem lecture these days...lindsay and i actually got there at 10:06 on monday b/c we slept in until 9:45. it's the saddest thing. we don't even go to bed that late...always before 2am. we really are becoming old ladies...
