i couldn't agree more. he's so cocky, and tries to play with people's minds so they'll pity him, not unlike certain teachers we've had. Anyway, the white stripes lego-rific video so should have won. that was awesome!

hi guys! guess what happened to me today? I SCORED A TOUCHDOWN!!! yes, the annual santos/tindula beach day and bonfire. and every beach day needs a rough game of football (j/k it was two hand touch)! anyway, i'm at my usual position as guard, blocking people, when brother mike gets tired and i'm chosen as the replacement receiver. first four or five plays, all passes go to nick, but then...i'm wide open near the endzone, andrew hits me with a long one, i catch it and take off. fourtunatley, all the defenders were far away, beacuse i doubt that i could have outrun them, but it was super-duper fun! HOORAY! ok, i will stop boring you with the sports report now. claire and her friend said they have a million new teachers at sj. they won't find out who they have until they buy books, but they both have new section teachers. and apparenty all of the senior section teachers are new. sucks for them. hahaha all the good teachers left with us.

hello, i have returned from the rather abnormal world of college orientation! it was very fun, but you cannot imagine how much info was crammed into my brain in only three short days! so to all those who have already started school, i wish you luck...and sanity. Perez, i think i'm gonna major in biochem too, that way i can take fun biology classes instead of ridiculously hard and pointless math and physics classes. BIOCHEM MAJORS ROCK! i mean that from the heart. my group at orient. had 8 other biochem majors, and they were all extremely normal and nice (well, if you consider a 5 on the calculus bc test normal). too bad the group only had one guy in it. i finally escape the feminine world of sj, to have a group of 8 girls and one guy. fabulous. well, at least my counselor, rob was male. he had a great sense of humor and made the whole event pretty fun overall. Erika, have you been to the jellies exhibit at the LB aquarium? if not, GO NOW! i thought it was cool, and i'm not even a big fan of the brainless creatures. and lisa, what's 45 squared????

hey, guess who else went kayaking this week? yes, yours truly! anyway, i'm back too...for a day...and then orientation at ucla. i've heard it's fun, hopefully everyone is right. i also got to drive a jet ski, which was the funnest thing ever, too bad the bay where we rented it was a 5 mph zone, and you had to drive a mile away at that extremely slow speed before taking off, but very fun nonetheless. We also rented a paddleboat, skiboat, and bikes. yea, we got on a first name basis with the rental workers. besides that, the usual: we went swimming in the pool, watched the fireworks from sea world, mike and dan counted 405 cars pass us on the freeway, and did some shopping. I got the cutest planner and pair of shoes, so that was exciting! i will tell you all the details when i see you and have more time. see ya soon!

andrew and claire invited mike and i to go see "signs" with them last nite, so guess what one of my new favorite movies is? i highly recommend it, well worth the $7 i had to pay to go see it! the best part is that it's unpredictable; you really don't know what will happen next. and it's creepy too. resident evil is good, but this is even better.
